Jorge Betancourt Polanco’s work as an artist, graphic designer, and writer transcends the barriers of language and age. From his acrylic paintings to his digital illustration, his creativity shines through. Even as an adult, his joyful childlike nature is evident in his artwork with its bright colors and bold shapes. His creativity led him to explore writing stories to go with
his art.
Twenty years as an artist and designer have included exhibits in Mexico as well as in Las Vegas, Nevada. Betancourt has taught art and graphic design classes. He completed his art degree at Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara in Mexico. Betancourt is Art Director at the weekly El Tiempo in Las Vegas, where he lives with his wife and two children.
