Jorge Betancourt Polanco can be called a publisher’s double threat – he wrote and illustrated his first book which was awarded a Moonbeam Award for best bilingual children’s book and was also named a Mom’s Choice Award winner in the bilingual and illustration categories. Jorge’s distinctive style can also be seen in Granny McFanny, which won a silver award for distinctive illustrations by Mom’s Choice Award judges.
